Going into the holiday season, with a lame duck Congress, and QE2 rolling along, there is probably not going to be much to discuss. Â It's likely to be status quo until January. Â Hopefully, if the new Congress can get their act together, the new year should bring lots of interesting things to talk about. For the time being, however, I don't expect to have much besides the Friday fund review and maybe some lame-ass xtranormal movies.

I pray they do little to antagonize us on their way out, and thus you will have little reason for commentary.
I pray they do little, but fully expect you'll be busy.
My very best regards to you, HD.

Oh, I have no doubt the lame duck will attempt all kinds of bullshit, botnet. Â You're certainly right to be fearful there. Â But to me, that's just more of the status quo and not terribly interesting. Â That's the kind of thing the usual political sites will be all over -- I try to look at things from a different perspective.
I'm looking for changes to the status quo. Â The entire western world is on an unsustainable path -- the question is not if there will be major changes, but how and when. Â That's what interests me, and I just don't think it's likely we'll see much real change until January.
Best to you as well.
